This lyric has now officially supplanted U2's 'Nothing changes on New Year's Day,' from "New Year's Day" (of course) as the feel good lyric of this, or any other, new year.

Does anyone still get excited about New Year's anymore? Does anybody really think a new year is going to make much difference?

This could be another one of those this-holiday-was-a-lot-cooler-when-I-was-a-kid posts, but I have neither the energy nor the motivation. So I guess I'll just have to let DCfC and U2 speak for me.
